Hostel: Reception typically open until 9 PM. Late arrivals get self check-in instructions via WhatsApp/email. Seamless and well-reviewed.

Retreat: 100% self-service check-in. Detailed instructions, access codes, and property map sent before arrival. Support available via Hostel reception (5 to 10 min walk) or chat. This is by design: it keeps the property quiet and prices low.

Hostel: 15 minute walk or 4 minute Grab ride.
Retreat: 5 minute walk or 2 minute drive. One of the closest stays to Phuket Airport.

No shuttle needed. Grab is reliable, cheap, and quick. We send walking directions with your booking confirmation.

Direct bookings (flexible booking): Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival. No fees, no questions. Need to change dates or switch room types? Just message us and we’ll sort it out. This flexibility is only available when you book directly with the hotel.

Third-party bookings (booking sites): Cancellation policies are set by those platforms and are typically stricter, often non-refundable or with shorter windows. We can’t modify those bookings for you; you’d need to go through the platform.

The Retreat offers simple Thai-style bungalows at an honest price. Rooms are clean, private, and functional, but not luxury or boutique hotel standard. The real value is the garden, the quiet, the privacy, and being 5 minutes from the airport at a price that’s hard to beat. If you expect hotel-grade furnishings, the Retreat may not match those expectations. If you value authenticity, calm, and value, you’ll love it.
